AGUSTA YR
Agusta Yr (known as Agu by friends and family) is a film director, creative director, artist & model originally from Reykjavik, Iceland. She grew up between Miami and Iceland. She moved to New York in 2013 where she studied photography & video at School of Visual arts and worked directing videos for 5 years. In 2019, she appeared in Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty Show.
Her 3D video work has been particularly noted in fashion - she recently created the visuals for Yang Li's Automatic Show II, a 3D project with Moschino, and a number of projects for Love Magazine as well as with Vogue and Paper Magazine. She has been recognized in British Fashion Council’s “New Wave: Creatives 2020” list of innovative creators, as well as Dazed Magazine’s “Dazed 100” list of innovative creators from the fields of fashion, art, and media.
As a model she has appeared on the covers of Office Magazine and Editorial Magazine and worked with photographers including Ryan McGinley, Sharna Osborne, Nick Knight, and more. She also frequently collaborates with groundbreaking UK designer Sinead O'Dwyer. Agu currently resides in London with her french bulldogs Khloe and Milo.
